Kishkindha

Kishkindha, the legendary kingdom of the vanaras (monkey warriors), holds an extraordinary place in the Ramayana. It was here that Shri Ram formed a powerful alliance with Sugriva and met Hanuman, his most devoted follower. Kishkindha became the center of preparation for the great war against Ravana, and from here began the search for Mata Sita that eventually led to her rescue.

Described as a land of mountains, forests, and rivers, Kishkindha was full of life and energy. It was not just a monkey kingdom but a symbol of unity, courage, and loyalty. It is here that bonds of friendship were forged, wrongs were set right, and hope was born.

At Ramayan Vatika, Bareilly, the Kishkindha section has been recreated with symbolic sculptures of vanaras, floral art, and natural landscapes that capture the spirit of this kingdom. It reminds us of the timeless values of devotion, teamwork, and courage.
